🇦🇺 2 Oz tastet due to sober Feb.
Drinks like a wild ale. Not sure I've had a tripel like this before. Tart, fruity, and floral. Not as yeasty as I'm used.

Tap at the Boilermaker House, Melbourne. Poured a hazy light orange amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is doughy biscuit malt, shortbread, funky yeast, tart tropical fruits. The flavour is moderate sour with a crisp fresh biscuit malt, tart mango grapefruit citrus palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Truly awesome. Just love the bready character.

375ml bottle. Pours clear gold with a small white head. Heavy carbonation. Aroma of funk, apple, white wine. Taste follows nose with some yeast and spice notes, and pear, with a little barnyard and white pepper. Not sure if this should be classified as a Tripel, but still good.

[2/16] Bottle, 7C. Hazy gold with a good coat of white head. Aroma of rich dough, spiced oranges (the ones you plug spices in then leave the orange to wizen), apricots, some pasture-like notes. Full bodied, lowish carbonation. Sweet with rather messy honeyed dough, oranges. Boozy. White pepper, cassia and cloves muscle in before the fairly bitter finish. Lots of interesting things going on, but the vagueness of the malt flavours holds it back. 8 3 7 3 14 [3.5][6/16] Pours clear gold. Better defined hay and only slightly honeyed dough (but some sugar syrup I’d bet), coriander and pepper. Seems a little drier at the end. Sterner where it was a little vague. The aroma is leaner and less interesting than before - more like a less generous Karmaleit. Trying this bottle because I’ve seen this about still and wondered whether to buy more: yes.[2/17] bb 12/16. Leaner again with oranges, coriander, cloves. Still pretty good. Still about as wild as a rocking horse.
