It’s all about the hops. Big, fruity, flavourful. Unmistakably a huge IPA.

From a 375ml can on 13/4/2018. Pours a clearish deep golden with a medium head. The nose features lots of fruit and pine. The flavour presents a decent dash of caramel malt, with lots of sweet fruit citrus and stone fruit. The bitterness is relatively firm and resiny. The texture is syrupy and the carbonation moderate. It's not quite love, but I do like it. A very solid DIPA.

From can. Orange/gold. Slightly oily mouthfeel. All pine on nose, and that's what dominates in terms of taste. Hides booziness well.

Bottle at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy, short-lived white head. The aroma is malt, toffee, treacle, tropical fruit, alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a woody hop, toasty, sweet malt, warm, rich alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

[3/17] Bottle. Pretty fresh I s’pose. Golden amber. White head fades to a good coat. Aroma of grapefruit, passionfruit, mango, pine, mandarins. Big hop aroma yes, but oozy and refined rather than rambunctious. Lowish carbonation. Smooth, a bit of a depth charge feel to it even though there’s really no overt alcohol. Some bread and maybe peach but no caramel support the fruity hops. Bitterness is strongish but still only just prevails against the sweetness. No rough edges at all. Could be more exciting but really this is very good indeed. [3.9][4/18] Can. IMHO this dropped off by around May in 2017, so want to get to it. Lots of fruit - tropical, citrus, yielding to pine, peach and some white pepper. Not so much vibrant as oozing resinous hops. Just a little boozy at the end. Really good.
