Apparently Depaas is now Bak... Back B Thirteen Choco Mint Stout 5.5% New brewery (apparently in Kitahama, Osaka) with a taproom in the grand Front Building so deep pockets. This seems to be a tribute to Baskin Robbins. Deep inky black with minimal tan foam and a phenolic Smokey mint aroma. Quite light bodied with chocolate syrup and mint flavors. My first dips had me thinking something was a bit off (roasty smoke notes) but it grew on me. Not bad for someone new.
