Chabeer Roasted Green Tea Milk Stout

As Houjicha Stout, 6.5% and made with barley, wheat, tea and lactose according to the label. I decided to crack out my Stout glass and this beer made that effort worth it when it poured out a deep brown verging in black with a thick creamy tan head. Savoury soy and sweet lactose Houjicha aroma. Medium bodied with a texture that starts raspy then becomes slickly smooth. The taste is sweet then roasted Houjicha. I didn’t expect this to be a sweet and creamy Houjicha latte type beer but it tastes well. Sweeter than anticipated but not bad.
