Flavour is caramel, toffee, dried fruit. Some roasty bitterness, minimal hop character. Slightly bland finish, light body and minimal carbonation, but the balance is good overall.

Can, 0.33l from local Kaufland. Black pour, two finger frothy beige head, good retention, lasting head, sticky lacing on the glass. Roasty on the nose, light ashy and woody, fruity notes in the background.

Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, somewhat chewy, slightly fizzy, easily drinkable. Balanced roasty bittersweet taste. Slightly watery aroma, roasted malt, coffee, ash. Wood notes, forest fruits, raisins. Bready, toasted caramel. Slightly sticky. Short lasting finish, roasty, mild lingering bitterness.

A bit subdued aroma but otherwise quite decent for the price.
