Uetake #005: 3 x 3 = 9th Thank You Ale

Ushi-Tora #005 3x3=9th Thank You Ale 3.3% 29 IBUs I believe this was made to celebrate Ushitora’s 9th Anniversary. It pours a cloudy light gold with a wisp of bright white foam. This American style session pale ale(APA?) has a soft fruity + prickly one hop bouquet. The taste is quite bitter & earthy on the first sip. The second gives a bit more depth with bitter pine & mild lemon notes. However, the body seems thin & rough at 3.3% this doesn’t work for me boost the malts and make it 4-5% and you’d have a winner. OK, it does the trick as a session beer.
