Mad Tom is traversing the country as he seeks to merge the best qualities of a West Coast IPA & East Coast IPA, into one hop-tastic beer. Find a fusion of tropical fruit notes undercut by resiny pine flavours thanks to Eclipse, Chinook, and Centennial hops. With a restrained bitterness, this Bicoastal IPA strikes a balance between the two styles effortlessly, like a pilot navigating through clear skies.

Can that pours a hazy, amber colour with some golden highlights, a creamyish, warm off-white head that stays a while and leaves foamy-creamy lacing. A nice mix of tropical fruits and pine in the aromas, all with a soft caramel base. The mouthfeel is wet, juicy - kind of slick, with just a little dryness in the end. Some decent West Coast grassy-piney bitterness does build with time. All blending with some fruity hops. Quite a nice balance between a West Coast and an East Coast IPA.

Can from the LCBO. Cloudy dark orange/copper with a small off white head that leaves stringy lace. Lots of dank resin, tropical fruit and citrus with some floral notes. Some light berry tartness leads to a medium- pine and citrus peel bitterness. Mouth is medium+ with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish.
