Can to tulip.
Appearance: murky orange haziness; one finger white foamy head which slid off at a nice pace; some light lace
Aroma: orangey/floral to sweet grassy hoppiness; light crackery malts
Flavor: bittersweet juicy quality from the prior mentioned aromas; mild aftertaste of orange and floral hop character
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable, fairly watery along my tongue; finishes slick with overly sweetened oranges
Overall: the aroma was the best thing about this beer but man, I'm not sure where Upper Pass went wrong with this one. I had this several times and now I'm left wondering - seriously? Eh, whatever, I'm moving on.

Can (2/18/25) from trade with CLW--thanks, Chris! Deeply hazy orange-light brown-dark yellow with tons of sparkle, ample head with excellent retention, nice rings of lacing. Aroma is strong candied orange, milder apricot. Taste follows aroma. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Strong taste and aroma, though not complex. Good.

16 oz can. Aroma of tangerine and mandarin oranges. Flavors Boulder, with citrus and shows hints of earth and very mild pine. Soft mouth filled with steady amount of bitterness after seven. Quite balanced and it’s definitely a traditional imperial IPA. Enjoyable when you are looking for a old school character.
