Draft at the brewery. Pours black, with a small, khaki head. The aroma is vanilla, dark chocolate, caramel, pecan, heather, and chalk. Sweet and malty, with a mellow, nutty bitterness. Medium body, dusty, and chewy. Nice, mild, and clean.

12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine in Davidson, CO. Thanks G-unit! Pitch black pour with a tight beige head and very good retention. Good lacing. Dark roasted aroma. The flavor matches the nose. Dark roasted malts taste that's mellowed by the vanilla flavor. Thick enough mouthfeel. Smooth and semi-creamy body. Overall very mellow for 6.5% ABV and 42 IBU.
