This year’s St. Paddy’s Day brew is a traditional Irish Stout. A style often mistaken for a thick, heavy beer, Irish Stout is actually one of the most easy-drinking, sessionable styles around. With enough roasted malt to provide a satisfying coffee/chocolate profile it’s low abv and crisp finish make it the perfect choice for a long night of celebration.
"The Parting Glass" refers to both a long standing tradition and one of the oldest continuously performed folk songs of the British Isles. The Parting Glass or the “Stirrup Cup” was a final drink given to a departing guest after they had just mounted their horse. This custom was practiced in several European countries for centuries.

Coffee, chocolate malt, and hay/grass aroma. Dark brown with nice tan head. Mildly sweet coffee, chocolate malt, and mildly bitter fresh hay/grass flavor. Good body. Excellent.
