Can from Stefan: pours amber with off white head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, grainy. Pretty smooth. Lightly sweet. Nice caramel expression. Good.

12 oz can. Pours a crystal clear light brown color with a smallish off-white head that slowly fades away. The aroma is medium in strength with lightly roasted grains, caramel and some spicey noble hops. The taste follows the nose, no surprises--lightly roasted grains, caramel and noble hops. The palate is light and crisp with lively carbonation. Finishes long and semi-sweet with caramel and hops. Overall: Decent--This is a rather enjoyable Amber/Vienna/Marzen. Goes down easy. I can see why this was a gold medal winner in its style at GABF.
