Glass shared with Josh and Phill during a mini-trip organized to help carless Phill pick up his Tavour bottles, some of which had been waiting for him for about a year, hehe.
Aroma: kinda flowery soap, herbally.
Taste: green tea and honey, flowery.
Overall: aroma was just ok, but yasye is very unique and nice.

On tap at Fair Isle. Pours a murky yellow with a white head. Earthy saison yeast, peppery, honey, and green tea on the nose. Flavour has dry, peppery saison yeast, some citrus, a nice blend of green tea. Fantastic.

Tap. Pours clear golden yellow, small white head, good lacing. Aroma of dust, lemon, bugs, floral notes. Flanks is very light tart, bright, floral, honey notes. Light body, soft mouthfeel. Excellent.

375ml bottle from Village Market. Bright, cloudy yellow golden pour, small frothy head fades to patches of fine foam. Aroma is fruity, grassy, floral with a little funk. Taste brings notes of lemon, tangerine and tea. A little bit of yeast funk, but only minor tartness.

Totally different from previous batches, more honey and vanilla notes, almost marshmallow from the green tea + honey mix. Also note the unique abv for silly mods.

I know they mostly do saisons and the style isn't the most flavorful but man I love fair isle. Such a great soft saison with notes of tea. Perfect blend of tea and rustic funk!

Notes from FHF 2022 (Aug 06, 2022): Slightly hazed yellow with white head. Light cherry quality with a touch of tea, enjoyable.
