330mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out roasted malt and light piney hops. Flavour is along the same lines, with roasted malt, piney hops, and a slight bitterness on the finish. Well-balanced, with a slightly bitter finish. Nice one.

Pours dark brown with a large head.Nose shows caramel, liquorice and toasty malt. Quite sweet-smelling.Flavours include more toasty malt, caramel and some light spicy and herbal hops.

Bottle. Dark brown with a modest beige head. Aroma of spiced chocolate and roasted barley, tropical fruit. And while the fruit is there in the aroma, it takes over completely upon a sip. Tropical and citrus (and peach and melon) bubblegum with a bit of burnt toffee behind. Leans slightly towards dry at the end which brings the lowish bitterness into play nicely. This is a fun and original beer.
