330ml bottle [12.5% as per label]. Cloudy, dark copper-ish, brown colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Caramel malty, fruity and spicy aroma, notes of treacle, dried fruit, plum, dark berries, a touch of apple, orange, whiffs of cinnamon, a resinous hoppy touch as well, blackberry predominance all in all. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, fruity and slightly spicy, notes of blackberry, hints of blackcurrant with a dry touch of corresponding pericarp, some apple, cinnamon, a touch of aniseed, treacle basic layer; not completely, but well hidden alcohol with minimally warming effect, even lighter finish due to more present citrusy hints of orange, orange peel. Viscous texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. Quite a lot of ingredients but rather blurred outcome - OK.

330ml bottle bought at Brew Cavern in Nottingham more than two years ago. Pours a deep rosewood coloured body with an off-white head and clingy lacing on the glass.Delicate mid-sweet berry fruits on the nose. Red orange, plums, wood and blackcurrant to a rich flavour profile. Lingering aftertaste of berry fruits with warmth from the alcohol. Full bodied. Excellent sipper (Shared with Finn, 21.08.2017).

Caliente. Le falta equilibrio. Se hace dura.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours dark brown with a really small beige head. Aroma is quite large and very fruity with some spice and booze. Taste is sweet and a tad bit sour but not sour in a sour ale way. Pretty big and the alcohol is kind of large as well. Not your super normal quad I suppose.
