Bottle shared. Clear dark copper with short lasting cream colored head. Blackberries and black currant on the nose. Smells great! Raisins, blackberries, massive bitter alcohol, orange peel, caramel, bitter grass and unripe vegetables. Under medium sweet and strong bitter alcoholic finish. Over medium bodied with thin alcoholic finish. Way, way too alcoholic.

Clear deep reddish amber beer, good pale tan head. Palate is airy, slightly dry and has good fine carbonation. Smooth malts, light cream and toffee. Red berry fruits and a medicinal herby thing going on. Mild spice. Floral tangy finish brings some warmth. Curious but tasty.

Bottle (from beer gonzo). Pours dark ruby with beige head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, some fruits, vanilla. Flavor is sweet, sour and bitter, blackcurrant, fruits, malt, caramel, and spices. Finish is dry malty bitter. Alcohol is rather covered. Overall: weird, but I kind of like it.

Bottle in ABZ, from the now defunct Bottle Cap shop. It pours clear deep mahogany brown with a thick beige head. The aroma is rich, sweet, juicy, apple pie, fruit cake, cherry cola, jam and spice. The taste is bitter, chewy malt, wood, fruit cake, boozy alcohol boost, vanilla, spice and leather with a dry, chewy finish. Full body, fine carbonation and drying mouth - feel. A bit too much booze perhaps, but alright.
