We added 1/5 fresh wild plums for a few months to a blended base from our foeder and a pure Brettanomyces fermentation.

On tap at Drinkøtéka. Pours murky dull gold with a white head. Plenty of juicy plums, tart skins; moderate acidity. Not super complex, but still nicely done with good plum expression.

Tap at PBF 2025. Misty golden body, white head. Pretty distinct "wild plum" aroma, somewhat funky. The taste is a mild disappointment though - sure, nice plum notes are there, in the sweetish, tartish taste, but I got some cheesy notes as well from the funk, which didn't sit perfectly with me. It is what it is, a fun experiment!
Hapu, lilleline, puuviljane, tsitrus, sidrun, kerge nisu, ploomid. Ok.
