Originating in Bavaria, this style traces its roots back to the monks of the 17th century. Seeking a nourishing beverage to sustain them through fasting, they crafted a stronger, malt-forward beer, eventually giving rise to the Doppelbock, with our Lentbier being a slightly lighter, and smokey variation.
A deep amber hue with a rich, bready malt aroma. It offers flavors of toasted bread, caramel, and light toffee, balanced by a mild hop bitterness, and campfire smoke. Medium-bodied, Lentbier provides a satisfying yet drinkable experience—perfect for reflection and tradition.

FLN, absolutely fantastic, only bested by cohesion's cause of the side pull, one day I'll get to visit barrique when they aren't closed 🥲

Can from Tavour. Pours clear brown with a decent creamy tan head. Delicate but firm smoky aroma. Arguably med body. Malty and smoky. Somewhat bitter. Towards dry. Excellent flavor.

Can. Pours clear hazel, medium beige head, creamy, good lacing. Aroma is light smoke, caramel, noble hop, hint of corn. Flavor is quite light smoke, light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body. Pretty crushable.
