This red ale combines classic British hops with a speciality German malt. The hops impart a gentle floral character, in the style of a traditional bitter. The Carared malt adds a gentle sweet maltiness, as well as the deep red colour.

Cask at the Falcon JDW, High Wycombe. Poured a clear dark amber with a thin off white head and some broken lace. The aroma is malt, red berry fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a smooth rich fruity, strawberry cheesecake floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Best beer I have had so far from Rebellion.

On tap at the brewery. An attractive reddish copper colour with a tight cream head; fruity malt aroma; sweet fruity taste of berries and cherries with a hint of chocolate, and a thick creamy body; followed by a gentle bitterness and a dry biscuity finish. Satisfying - the best from Rebellion for a while.

Cask at Heidrun, 08/05/17. Clear reddish copper with a well appointed cream cap .... good looking beer. Nose is light ash, earthy berry, faint strawberry, biscuit, brown bread. Taste comprises mellow fruits, strawberries and cream, hint of vanilla, caramel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterness. Really good condition on this .... Top notch feel and presentation plus the middle order does a decent enough job too.
