Route Two is the first sequel to our original no-messing English Bitter. Pleasing bready malt body in front of a good bittering hop addition. Hopped with Target, for light spice and citrus overtones. If you want to debate the sparkler then please await rescue.

Cask at White Hart, Chobham opaque chestnut. Thing foamy white head recedes. Aroma has citrus and berries over brrady malts. Flavourwise ia has berry and citrus sourness with some floral sweetness. Undelivered malts and grains. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft lazy carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. On trend in that it's a bitter and pretty boring.

(Cask at Evening Star, 20250608) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was small, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had nuts, biscuits, earth and toffee. Palate was medium bodied and dry with low carbonation. Flavours were earth, nuts, toffee, biscuits and bitterness. Aftertaste had earth, malts and bitterness. A pleasant malty brew.

[Cask at the Greyfriar, Reading.] A pale chestnut pour with a ring of white head; malty aroma with a hint of spice; smooth and creamy in the mouth with an earthy malt taste; then a dry finish with some nuts and caramel and an earthy bitterness. A pleasant traditional bitter.
