Our Coffee Vanilla Porter uses a unique cold press coffee blend designed to compliment the robust character of the beer. The inter play of deep roasted malts and Vietnamese coffee are perfectly married, while the addition of vanilla contributes layers of decadence. It is truly smoothness in a glass.

On tap at East West, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out light coffee, a touch of vanilla and moderate sweetness. Flavour brings out cloyingly sweet vanilla, a touch of coffee and light roast. Cloyingly sweet and too pronounced on the vanilla. Not disastrous like some of their other beers, but this isn't very pleasant.

Tap at the Brewpub, HCMC. Poured a hazy dark brown with a thin broken light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, dry coffee, sweet vanilla light chocolate. The flavour is moderate to light sweet with a light, very slightly watery, chocolate, smoky roast, liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Loved the aroma but the overpowering liquorice bitter palate did not impress. A little on the light side too.
