Aromas of chocolate, orange, cream, pine and stone fruit. The pine notes are strong, and there's this interesting creaminess and thinness to the palate. Hard to explain! This one looks great too - not fully opaque, with a little haziness. Loved it.

In 2012, a collaboration with Mikkeller. In recent years the collaborator has changed each year with varying degrees of success (although it's never been less than good). Dark brown with a cm of beige head. Choc-orange aroma with some brioche, nectarines, pine and pepper. Delicate, alive texture. Not much depth or grunt to the malt side of things. Lovely fruity/ piny/ peppery hops. Bitterness is a little on the low side for me (although it builds a bit). Very nice stuff but doesn't q creep into my best 3 of the series (12, 17, 23).
