Red IPA

Bottle, 0.33l. Murky deep amber/brown pour, one finger creamy beige head, long lasting, very good retention, sticky lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, toasted caramel, grassy hops, pine. Citrus peel in the background.

Medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, silky. Easily drinkable. Nicely balanced herbal bittersweet taste. Aroma of toasted caramel, rye bread, grassy hops, citrus peel. Light spice, pine notes, floral aftertaste. Slight stickiness to it. Medium lasting finish, dry, bitter, hoppy.

Quite enjoyable.

0.33 l bottle at the Goblet Beer Store, Zagreb. Dark copper to ruby red. Medium diminishing off-white head. Aroma is plastic, rose water and perfume along with some cardboard and toast. Medium body. Flavour is malty, caramely, cardboard, rose petal. Smooth, sweet, light earthy finish.

0,33 l bottle. Pours dark brown with reddish hew. Big, tan, really long lasting head. Plenty of lacing on the glass. Aroma has plenty of caramel, toasted barley, herbal and fruity. Taste is medium sweet and bitter and somewhat soapy. Finish is resinous, caramel. It doesn't really have hop character for IPA, it's more like Irish red ale. Not best execution.

On tap at Goblet Zagreb. Dark amber coloured, medium sized creamy pale beige head, caramel and light herbal nose. Toasted malt, caramel, notes of herbs and light toffee with touch of oranges in the finish. Bitter finish.

Tap at Goblet. Lightly hazy deeep brownish red body, creamy off-white head. Caramel and orange jelly in the aroma, bit herbal, some brown sugar and resin. Lean dry caramelly, orange jelly, dry, citric-tart, hugely resinous, bitter, bit soapy. Needs tweaking.
