Hope is a beautiful Summer Ale with a smooth malt presence, where aromatic southern hemisphere hops are added in good measure.

The crisp dry lager-like finish makes Hope the perfect thirst quencher for a hot day! Lawnmower beers rock!

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks troubles. Hazy golden, white head. Minerals, floral and citric hops, yeast, a bit sweetish, graininess, bitterish finish, over-carbonated.

Bottled, from Temple Cellars, Singapore. Hazy deep golden, small coarse head.Fruity nose with some orange peels and bicarbonate. Sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Syrupy and caramelly with some fruityness and jam. Ann odd touch of bicarbonate linger in the mid bitter finish. Too sweet and syrupy.

On tap at Botanica Wine & Beer Garden, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral notes and light biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with floral notes and biscuity malt. Clean and floral on the finish. Decent.

Bottle at the Good Beer Company, Singapore. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head and plenty of bubbles. The aroma is yeasty citrus fruit. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, light sour with a crisp, slightly light, dry, yeasty, tart citrus fruit palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Sounded great on the label but didn’t really live up to that initial promise.ter with a light watery, crisp, light citrus fruit, grainy mineral malt, hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. The description of the beer on the label really had my mouth watering but once again it really didn’t live up to expectations. There are many other local beers that are better to unwind with at the end of a long day IMO.
