We teamed up with our friends from Yakima Chief Hops to brew this take on Oregon Trail. The recipe incorporates the latest hop varieties and products to help showcase the fantastic aroma and flavour these can impart! We started by using Chinook whole hops and Citra® DynaBoost™ hot side, then we dry hopped with Columbus T90, HBC522 T90 and Krush™ Cryo® before adding a top note of Mosaic® using HyperBoost™!

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A light hazed golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is spicy pine, earthy, fragrant pine, earthy , little apricot notes, peach melba. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, light wheat, bready fragrant pine, Palate is semi sweet, light resin, highish carbonation. Solid Westy.

Can in the garden, 3rd May 25. Pours clean and clear golden. Aroma is aromatic, pine, light. Taste is very light, some pine, citrus, aromatic, delicate and clean, I agree with Chris, it’s lacking an assertive punch, but still a nice IPA

440ml can. Clear golden, big white head. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, resin. Taste is citrusy, plenty of orange, tangerine, some tropical fruit, piney resin, moderate bitter finish. Medium bodied. A tasty WC IPA but it feels a little muted/lighter than their usual, so I don't think this is an improvement on Oregon Trail.
