Bottle from Inn at Home, Guildford. 3.5%. Pours deep amber with minimal head. Aroma of sweet caramel, malt, rye and hops. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Bitter finish.

Bottle from Inn At Home, Guildford. Clear brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, fruity and light hoppy - fruity and old hops. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Short finish. 140218

Bottle from Inn ar home, Guildford. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, old hops, fruits, nuts and malt. Nice bitter finish.

Cask @ Thornbury Castle, London. Clear dark amber with next to no head. Grainy-malty with a small sticky-sweet texture.

Tried at the Craft Rooms Lincoln T 3.5%. Rich redish brown colour with a thin tan head. Aroma has light caramel with malty fruit. Taste dry towards the finish. Medium body.

33cl bottle. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is bretty yeast, light fruit. The flavour is moderate to light sour with a yeasty tart fruit, grainy malt, light spice palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle at home, 10/10/16. Almost clear copper golden with a well appointed head of egg shell white bubbledom. Nose is light spice, bitter orange, toasted grains, biscuit, toffee. Taste comprises biscuit malt, spice, rye bread, toasted grains, light caramel, faint spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Not bad for the ABV.

330ml Bottle (Angel JDW, Basingstoke) - Amber in colour. Rye, cocoa, nuts and pine in the aroma. Earthy taste with nuts, cocoa, toffee and some buttery notes.
