Just a stone’s throw from DC Brau lies the infamous Colmar Manor Dueling Grounds, where Washington’s elite once settled scores with pistols in hand. Known as 'The Dark and Bloody Grounds,' it saw duels rage on—even after Congress outlawed them in 1839—until the eve of the Civil War. Honor demands satisfaction, and so does your thirst!!
Rich and malty, with pronounced toasted bread crust flavor, with
subtle background notes of brown sugar and toffee. Perfectly balanced, with a light pop of peppery hop spice, and a mild bitter
backbone. Not too sweet, not too bitter, with a crisp finish that’s dry enough to keep you wanting more.

A light bit of caramel, and some tin. Decent for style--it's been so long that I've had a viena that I forgot how much I didn't like the style. Clear copper pour with decent head. Light sweet cloying finish. Tap at Midlands Beer Garden.
