Cask-conditioned at the Victoria, Walsall 10/3/2017. Golden in colour, with a tight, off-white, head. Stone fruits, hay, some sweet malts and leafy hops before a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask at the Victoria, Walsall. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy long-lasting white head. The aroma is malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth skunky malt woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Hand-pulled pint in The Cock Hotel, Wellington (Shropshire) on 13th Feb 2014. Golden and bright body with a good white head that gave some impressive lacing. Floral nature to the aroma and taste initially, with some lingering yeastiness. Once into the beer you find an undertone of bitter hops below a slightly biscuity, light malt flavour. A good honest session ale.
