Mountain Culture Brewing, in Katoomba Australia, were kind enough to host us and show us around the beautiful Blue Mountains recently. We became friends. Mates, as it were.
Unfortunately, their beautiful land was obscured by rain and thick clouds, so they showed us pictures of said beauty, and we drank beers inside all day. Luckily, this gave us plenty of time to come up with something fun, experimental and unique for our first collaboration beer.
Then, we got the chance to brew this again in Vancouver. Shockingly, the weather remained the same up here.
Spacetime Legend combines the unique dry hopping techniques of both breweries in an attempt to expand our knowledge of what varied contact times do for our hops.
This Hazy IPA is brewed with a massive amount of malted and torrified wheat in the grain bill and then Dry Hopped with Citra, Centennial, and Australian Vic Secret.
Both of our breweries use a very different dry hopping schedule so we decided to combine these techniques and dry hop with each hop for various amounts of time throughout fermentation based on the character we were looking for.
