I have in a last couple of days been searching the web for St Leger tickets as an Xmas present for my parents! Black in colour and much stronger tasting than expected in both aroma and taste, with liquorice exemplifying both.

Cask at the Doncaster Beer Festival 2025. Jet black with a thin tan head. Aroma and taste are malty bitter chocolate. Slight sweet. Rich full body.

Medium creamy beige head. Clear almost black pour. Treacle aftertaste
