A fresh, unfiltered brew perfect for lazy summer days. Our Wahoo White is brewed with unfiltered, un-malted wheat and oats that give it a distinctive cloudy complexity. True to the Belgian tradition, this Witbier boasts a refreshing, citrusy flavor thanks to the orange peel and coriander we add to the boil. This makes Wahoo an ideal beer for year-round beach weather.

Pours very pale from a bottle. Nose of coriander, banana, light spice. Taste is very watery, plain, light banana and spice. Not a shitton going on here.

Bottle, unsure how to decipher date code, drunk 1/29/16.
Medium-sized white head fades quickly to nothing atop a lightly hazy, rosy-golden body.
Bubble gum, light cotton candy, lemon and tangerine in the nose. Not terribly aromatic and nothing new to see, but no flaws, though a touch of alcohol which shouldn’t be there.
Expansive, fluffy carbonation disperses cotton candy, bubble gum and white pepper/coriander throughout the palate. Light sugariness and fairly well-attenuated. Little bit of corn. I don’t know. About as uninspired/cookie-cutter American wit as you can get, but it’s balanced enough and drinkable.

Can from Brewdog.com. Drunk from the can on the train so no comment on appearance. Aroma is spicy. Taste is a slightly over-spiced wit with moderate citrus, yeast and some banana. Nice but has a strange metallic aftertaste.

Can from BottleDog, Edinburgh. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of wheat, white pepper and orange pith. Flavour of lemon peel, cereal, herbs and cucumber. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Simple, nice.

In my opinion it’s hard to take a wit and make it a standout, memorable beer. I do however believe they made a solid effort on this one. Cloudy pale yellow color with a wheat forward aroma. Thicker body with lemon and orange peel, and a wheaty finish. Came of as refreshing to me, with a just right amount of spice in the finish. Overall a tasty beer to me.

Pours orange with a smooth head. Aroma of citrusy fruits, lemon, yeast and stuffy notes. Taste is sweetish, yeasty and stuffy with hints of citrus and lemon. Finish is smooth and sweetish with some stuffy notes. Decent.

Draught @ the brewpub, Miramar. Aroma has fruity hops and yeasty notes. Also fruit fruit candy. Flavour has yeasty tones, peaches, some fruitiness and flour. A saisony wit, I like the yeasty notes here.
