A fresh, unfiltered brew perfect for lazy summer days. Our Wahoo White is brewed with unfiltered, un-malted wheat and oats that give it a distinctive cloudy complexity. True to the Belgian tradition, this Witbier boasts a refreshing, citrusy flavor thanks to the orange peel and coriander we add to the boil. This makes Wahoo an ideal beer for year-round beach weather.

Bottled@Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Slightly hazy yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is wheat, fruits, some mild tartness as well. Flavour is quite much the same. A rather nice witbier, which would very well manage comparing to it’s Belgian likes.

Location: On tap at the Brewery, Linda Vista Location, 1/7/10

Aroma: Citrus, orange, banana, spice, and wheat
Appearance: Hazy yellow color, white head
Flavor: Medium sweet with a little bit of spice
Palate: Light-medium body, very drinkable
Overall Impression: This is a drinkable, average, ultimately forgettable beer. Not bad, just not a lot of depth, character, or excitement around it.

Bottle of questionable dating: White grape and babyfood nose. Milky yellow with a thin vanishing white head. Thin body, but carbonation is fine. Wheat malt flavor dominant with a tartness that isn’t exactly citrus or spice. Mild cardboard finish. Drinkable, but possibly too old. This sample was a poor representation of the style.
