Clear gold with a decent white head. Light perfumy hops. Soft grains and a light dry finish. Pretty tasteless.

Bottle from Takumi Craft Beer Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is malt, resin, floral hop, light toffee. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light dry, grainy, toffee resin, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. The floral aftertaste is really not pleasant. Not a beer I could drink in quantity.

330ml bottle from a friend. Poured into a shaker pint. Golden orange color with a slight bit of haze and a fairly nice soapy head. Slight toasted malt aroma with a smidgen of citrus. Soft, slightly creamy mouthfeel with a bready quality. Dry crisp finish. Not all that interesting.

On tap at the GJBF in Osaka 2014. A slightly opaque gold, thin filmy head. Rich bready malt nose. Soft mouthfeel, the flavor is kind of average but satisfying.

Bottle (Tokyo)
Golden-amber color, small steady white head. Harsh, malty aroma. Light-bodied, crisp carbonation. Pale malty, some English hoppyness. Clean malty flavor, although aroma was outputting.

350 ml bottle from Takashimaya @ Nagoya station. Aroma is... funny. I guess there is some malt, cardboard glue, raw potato. I would have expected a bit more hop character but it’s not really there. Taste is also... funny. There is some old grass, pear sweetness, finally ending up in a couple of bitter notes from hops. Perhaps a bit too sweet for my taste, although drinkable. Interesting experience, no regrets but not really sure if I want to repeat that again.

Bottled. Light to medium amber color. Nose of caramel malt and some citrus hops. Ok caramel and toffee flavors, fruity, orange, some grassy hop. Not bad, but pretty lame, and again, \500? Yona Yona is half the price and much better.
