Bottle from Craft, Sukhumvit, Bangkok. Poured a clear dark brown with a round off white head. the aroma is creamy caramel, roasty malt, liquorice, chocolate, coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich creamy liquorice bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma. Roasted malty caramel flavor with hints of chocolate. Has a roasted malty caramel bitter finish.

Charred oak nose. Black, thin tan head. Charred oak, baker’s chocolate, very very slightly meaty. Medium to full body, easy carbonation.

Bottle. Very dark brown with a light tan head that’s soon a coat. Aroma is roasty with chocolate, some singed carmael, vanilla, chicory. Smooth body, lowish carbonation. Sweet with some ashy and acid roasted touches. Firm roasted flavours, some licorice, chocolate. Not much depth for 7% but quite harmonious.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Dark brown, large foamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, oats, a bit of leather. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, oats, hints of vanilla and leather. Thin-medium bodied, smooth. Tasty.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Tom L’s place. Black with a tan head. Great aroma of dark chocolate and some roast. Sweetish flavor with dark chocolate, roast, a bit of coffee, a smoky note, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Very good.
