Bottle pours out hazy straw topped with a white head. Nose is light sweet banana bread spice notes and some wheat. Taste is more of the nice light banana spice clove and wheat.

Tap at Takumiya. I haven’t had a beer from this brewery in awhile (due to Ho hum to off brews) but figured I’d take the plunge. A glowing gold that is completely opaque with a tangy Clive and wheat aroma. Medium to light bodied with soda bread, a bit of egginess (in a good way), wheat, cloves and white white pepper. Better than I expected.

Bottle from Takumi, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin broken white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is malt, light banana. The flavour is light acid grain with a light, slightly watery crushed banana, yeasty palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat light and a little pasty. Not much backbone.

Tap at Komachi. Cloudy, deep golden color. Full clove and banana nose. Very spicy, great cloves, some nutmeg and cinnamon, peach and banana. A bit too sweet, but full bodied and good. Best of the beers under this label.
