U.S hopped pale ale using one of the first American hops to grace our shores, often neglected now due to newer varieties, we love this hop and the unique citrus qualities it puts into beer.

Cask at the Craven Arms, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is pineapple, yeast, light grassy citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a light, watery, cirus fruit, light hop bitter palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Gold. Pretty hazy. Messy, dense, bright white head. Nose has sweet toffee malts. Pineapple cube sweets. Hint of squeezy honey. Some herbal hop leaf. Taste is fruity, honey sweet, with a light hop leaf bitterness. Light body. Fine carbonation. A tad oily. Sweetness fades toward the finish getting juicy and nicely pithy bitter.
