Cask at the Craven Arms, Birmingham. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, light grassy nettle hop, light fruit. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth fresh nettle hop, light fruit, light pepper spice palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask. Gravity dispense. 42nd Steel City Beer Festival. Dark, yellow gold. Bubbly, white head. Nose has grainy malts. Some melon hop. Taste is sweet and grainy. Some moderate bitterness. Light body. Minimal bitterness on the finish. Not up to usual standards. --- Beer merged from original tick of Single Hop APA - Belma on 09 Dec 2016 at 12:56 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Pale orange gold. Light haze. Thin, sticky, white head. Nose has green, leafy hop. Some pineapple. Some grapefruit. Not too big on the fruit, unusually. Taste is light bitter. A little bit of wet paper. Quite a flat mouthfeel. Dull and watery. Light bitter finish. Way off North Ridingโ€™s usual standard.
