Botella 33 cl de Sr Lupulo, tomada en el momento en Belmonte 16..11..2015. (r61) Color negro intenso con espuma oscura. Aromas y sabores maltosos tostados llegando a algo quemados al coger temperatura dominados en todo momento por una abundante dosis de especias vainillas y otras, junto con ligeros sabores frescos de coco. Cuerpo medio con 13 vol que se notan desde el primer momento dándole una buena sensación alcohólica. Densa y espesa, sobre todo al calentar, con paso fino por boca. Ligero amargo junto con quemados al final de la botella...lo mejor otra vez más queda para el final... Bastante Buena, muy llamativo el gran sabor especiado y los toques de coco. Para repetir sin duda.

Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, licorice, alcohol and tonka beans. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, roasted, chocolate, tonka and coffee finsh. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

330mL bottle, pours a motor oil black with a small brown head. Nose is decadent, with cocoa, vanilla and coffee notes in unison. Flavour is rich and complex, with an amazing blend of coffee, cocoa, and just a touch of vanilla - there's even a hint of licorice that seems incidental. Viscous mouthfeel, without being too sweet or overburdening in any way. Wonderful stuff.

Taste is slightly dry and harsh, dark malts, bark, cocoa, alcohol, cinnamon, vanilla, minerals, oak, coffee. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry and syrupy mouthfeel. Nice, but could have been so much better.

On tap at BrewDog Grünerløkka (BD57), Oslo. Pitch black with a nice, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, caramel and hints of coffee, dark fruits, hops and alcohol. Sweet, flavourful and somehow quite balanced. Delicious dessert sipper.

On tap @ Kick. Black body with a small, lacing beige head. Strong aroma of roasted malt, coffee, ripe fruit and liquorice. Flavor is very sweet dark, medium roasted malt, coffee, moderate bitterness and alcohol. Full bodied with a long lasting alcoholic, sticky sweet aftertaste. First impression (AKA ticker sized sample) is pure magic, but it becomes too sweet and overwhelming alcoholic with a real sized glass of this. Big beer out of balance.
