An easy drinking session ale with its Celtic undertones and red distinctiveness created using gently roasted malts and pure Black Country water. Smooth and tempting with caramelised toffee notes and a lightly hopped finish.

Hand-pulled pint in the Codsall Railway Station bar on 10th Nov 2016. Light chestnut in colour, clean and clear, the head an off-white speckled covering. Malty, fairly dry tasting and woody in nature. Bitter, dry finish. OK but would have liked a bit more sweetness from the malts.

Gravity cask at the Land Rover Beer Festival 2016. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, light citrus, light metallic hop, light buttery yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light, slightly watery, fresh metallic woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.
