Aurora is a 6.7% ABV red rye IPA loaded with Equinox, Centennial, Motueka, and Experimental Hop 07270. This pungent, complex IPA marries the spicy malt character of rye with the fruity dankness of new wave American & New Zealand hops. Aurora pours a gorgeous ruby red, making it the perfect IPA for Fall (if it ever comes to San Diego).

Canned, from Systembolaget. Clear copper colour, small head. Caramelly piney nose with some lychee. Sweet and caramelly, peppery with some pears. Resiny bitter finish. Sticky caramelly malt doesn’t really function with any type of hops.

Can shared at a tasting at the new LiBira brewpub. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Hazy amber. Great hoppy aroma, piney and fruity, with an oniony note, spicy rye, and a bit of caramel. Sweetish malty flavor with caramel, spicy rye, and nice piney hops with good moderate bitterness. Medium-bodied, rounded. A very good one.

473ml Can - Copper red in colour. Pine, toffee, grapefruit, raisins and peach in the aroma. Hoppy, fruity and sweet taste with pine, grapefruit and reasons. With a name like this it’s a shame they didn’t use Aurora hops.

Pour is a clear copper witha small white head. Aroma is an eye opening rye spice with a pure pinee hop. Flavor is is an pretty decent hop with the rye also making an appearance. After the aroma I thought the rye and hps would be in your face but they were both a bit more tame. There are there and both leave a nice finish just not as much as I thoght they would be. Still this ia a tasty beer, more rye pale ale than amber ale.

Tallboy can from Stone in Asagaya. Pours a clear, deep copper with a one-fingered white head that lingers throughout. Mango and pine resin on the nose. Average carbonation with a slightly dank/sticky mouthfeel. Taste is fruity on the palate at first with lots of strawberry, mango and papaya up front with a nice spicy and peppery finish.
