Draught at the brewery
Black color, sparse head. A bit of cardboard and cheese aroma, very light smoke. The mouthfeel is weaker than expected, quite dry; the roasted malt flavor is ok, hints of dark chocolate and smoke, a bit ashy in the end. Maybe a bit bready too. Pleasant.
Not a bad beer, not a statement either.

On tap at Off the Rail, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out light smoke and dry light cocoa. Flavour is lightly smoky, with toasted malt, dry cocoa, and a crisp astringency on the finish. Well-designed porter with just the right amount of smoky bite. Good stuff.

Draft - Light sweet smoke and dark malts. Deep maroon with a decent light brown head. Smoke and burnt toast with a bit of fruit. Not bad.
