16 oz. can from Trader Joe's. Light, slightly hazy gold pour under a big, stiff head. Nose carries mostly light toasty malts, just a bit of hop crispness. Toasty malts in the taste, too. A medium level of American hop bitterness, some leafy hop. Also some sweetness around the edge that seems like extra sugar. Kind of gets in the way of the ideal of a lighter pale ale. Hop notes rally to come through in the end.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear, pale yellow, with a medium, bubbly, off-white head. The nose is lemon zest, hay, clover honey, and orange peel. Sweet and zesty, with a mild, bitter finish. Light, crisp, and citrusy. This is a refreshing and light beer, but quite hoppy.
