Cask at Winstons. Pours clear amber with a thick off-white head. Aromas are wood, nuts, brown bread, and faint marmalade. Taste is dry, spice, brown bread again. Dry finish. Marmalade is quite subtle.

Cask at PoW, Aberdeen. It pours clear nut brown with a khaki head. The aroma is woody, nutty, brown bread, ryvita, baked goods, dusty leather and subdued marmalade vibes. The taste is firmly dry, woody, toasted nut, leather, brown bread, toasted spice, leather, later on comes the marmalade...pithy, zesty, bitter orange and some waxy rind. Finish is firmly dry and pithy. Average body and soft carbonation. Quite restrained on the marmalade front, but perhaps that's a good thing? Not bad.
