A refreshing “lawnmower beer” perfect for hot summer days or as your first choice at the pub. Morning Moon is a light beer with mild spicy hops, a clean finish, and a surprisingly robust body, all in a low-carb and low-calorie package.

[Cask at The Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A hazy straw coloured pour with no head and gentle carbonation; grassy aroma; thin in the mouth with a light grassy taste and a cereal grain body; then a dry grainy finish with a touch of lemon. Not what I expect from a “cream ale”, and not sure how I’d classify it.

Cask at BCF Taps, 07/03/2025.
Pale golden blonde with a thin white cap that soon vanishes.
Nose is grass, pale malts, straw, herb.
Taste comprises pale malts, twiggy bite, faint citric peel, hedgerow.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close.
So so ... twigometer rising through amber.

Cask gravity at the Watford beer festival 2024. A light hazed golden straw coloured pour with a fading halo of loose white head. Aroma is weird, hairspray, cream, vanilla, grass, armpit. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty malts, vanilla, rustic grains, straw, wet grass. Dirty hop, bark. Terrible. Palate is crisp. Grainy, fine carbonation, pretty shit.
