Bottle shared with friends. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is big yeast, orange citrus. The flavour is light bretty sour with some sweet citrus notes. The palate is light crispy refreshing mineral aspirin citrus with a bubbly mouthfeel. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

[11/15] Bottle from their barrel room. Almost clear gold with a thick white head that never disappears. Aroma of Seville oranges, citrus blossoms, peaches, grass, dough, white pepper. Really juicy with sour orange, peaches and nectarines (fist squeezed ripe and just under-ripe respectively) some light herbal and oak notes, bitterness comes with a suggestion of zingy, leafy-peppery funk at the end. Alcohol is completely hidden. I would have liked it to have a slightly creamier texture and perhaps have the flavours more completely integrated - it may well be that both of those things happen in over the next month or so. Very good, redolent of competence if not mystery. [4]Fruit flavours have come indeed together nicely and it seems softer overall - slightly sherbety really. But the aroma has lost a bit of punch. Pretty sophisticated drop - the combination of sweet and under-ripe fruit with grapey funk is very fine.
