Cask. Shakespeare’s, Sheffield. 3.7%. Clear, pale gold. Bubbly, lasting, white head. Nose has fleshy peach. Some strawberry. Notes of ripe pear. Taste is moderately bitter, with some malty sweetness. Crisp mouthfeel. Fine carbonation. Fruity, quite zesty, bitter finish. Good golde.

Cask at the Rail Ale Festival Chesterfield, 2016. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is big grassy hop, yeast, citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light yeasty, grassy hop palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Gravity cask at Rail Ale ’16, 20/05/16. Very lightly hazed golden blonde with a decent off white head. Nose is light airy malts, orange peel, faint spice, bread. Taste comprises tangerine, citric tinged straw, light floral bite. Medium bodied, fine carboantion, semi drying close with light citric hop bitterness. Decent enough hoppy golde.

3.9 cask at the north riding brew pub. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas of light tropical fruit, lemon. Taste is more tropical fruit, star burst sweetness. Zingy finish.
