Sample during Blarney Wine Festival on 03/17/2012. The beer is a dark reddish-mahogany color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse patches of lacing. Malty aroma with fruit and hop notes. Full-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, caramel, fruit and mild earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Good Barley Wine overall.
