Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 20/05/2025.
Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a thin beige cap that dissipates to a swirl.
Nose is chocolate, sweet malts, brown sugar dusting, molasses,
Taste comprises chocolate, booze, mellow roast, hazelnut, dried fruit esters, cocoa powder.
Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Decent enough pastry affair but lacks some depth to it's flavour and arrives in my glass a touch 1D.

Can. Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived pale tan head. Smooth palate, light for the hefty abv, decent fine carbonation. Soft rich chocolate malts, a very good mix of milk and dark chocolate, about 65:35. Mild chocolate liqueur and chocolate cake. Some alcohol spice just after the mid. Back end finds fruity estery chocolate. Smooth finish. Really good chocolate bound Impy, needs to lose the bi-products for me.
