Cask at the Fat Cat, Kelham Island, Sheffield. Poured a clear copper colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is nutty malt, light hop, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light watery woody floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Fat Cat; dark amber pour with a frothy off white head, aroma has some red fruit and a hint of nuts, taste has red fruits, some sweet malts, caramel and a bitter finish.

Half, cask at JDWs Waterhouse in Manchester. Bright amber body. Off-white layer at the top and to the glassware. Smell of malts and fruity hops. Caramel fruity taste, mild jam-like. Rounded, semi-dry bitter twist to the ending. Likable. 08.07.2012.
