Bottle @ Telfords. Clear dark brown, almost black under a small, lacing beige head. Nice aroma of dark malt, lots of dry fruit and quite vinous with a hint of wood. Taste is strong and super smooth with malt, dry fruit and distinct red vine and a wooden touch. Balanced body with long lasting slightly warming aftertaste, otherwise alcohol is well hidden. Really smooth and pleasant imp stout in the crossing of a barley wine.

Bottle, at Telfords. Black with a small beige head. Some lacing. Vinous, roasted aroma, some coffee. Dark dried fruit hints. Full body, smooth and very softly carbonated, some alcohol warmth. Vinous flavor too, with chocolate, prune and some coffee and licorice. Medium length finish. A bit dull, mostly due to lack of complexity and carbonation, but it's an intersting one. 250426
