Russian Imperial Stout with coffee.

A “festival” strength Russian Imperial Stout inspired by the huge stouts of yesteryear from USA, Denmark & Scotland, brewed with many generations of old English yeast and hopped with Farnham white bine from the adjacent hop farm, alongside a huge dose of whole bean Finca Terrerito coffee from our friends at Symposium Coffee Roasters in Norwich. Cold brew, sweet espresso chocolate, molasses and dark fruit esters with a touch of vanilla make it dangerously easy to drink.

Bottle via the online shop. Shared round Dan and Megan’s. Light gusher. Sits black. Inevitably there’s a big old swede first off until it calms. Lots of earthy slightly woody medium roast coffee. Bitter chocolate. Lightly vinous. Semi dry and moderately bitter. As per most TT big hitters it doesn’t feel anything like a big hitter. Generally nobody had a clue it was close to 15%. Rich bitter finish with a soft twang to close. Good gear.
